Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Comic Day (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Comic Day is an iOS app that uses artificial intelligence to generate 4-panel comic strips from text descriptions. The app allows you to create a custom character, choose from multiple art styles, and save or share your generated comics.
Accounts & Authentication
You must sign in with Apple to use Comic Day. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activities that occur under your account.
Credits & Purchases
- New users receive 3 free credits upon creating an account.
- Each comic generation consumes 1 credit.
- Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases via the App Store.
- All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Any credits already purchased will not be affected by pricing changes.
Content & Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Comic Day to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Create content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the app's source code.
- Use automated systems or bots to access the service.
- Circumvent any usage limits or credit systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Generated Content
Comics generated through Comic Day are created using AI image generation technology. You retain ownership of the text prompts you submit. Generated images are provided for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of your generated comics, but we reserve the right to use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the service.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Comics are generated by AI and may not always produce expected results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. Generated images may occasionally contain imperfections or unexpected elements.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Comic Day available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comic Day and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
